Terms Conference and Studio

The terms of this site.

Using algorithmacy.org, sending a submission, registering, or sending a Studio inquiry means these terms. The privacy notice says what happens to personal information. The code of conduct says how people are expected to behave.

01

The two programs.

The Algorithmacy Conference is 28–31 October 2026 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, convened by Roger Hunt and hosted by the Caribbean Emergence Institute. Algorithmacy Studio is a separate practice: an engineer learns an owner-run office and runs the agents around its chores.

Registering for the conference does not buy the Studio engagement. Sending a Studio inquiry does not register you for the conference. Cohorts, at cohorts.algorithmacy.org, is a separate program and is not covered by these terms.

02

Using the site.

The site describes the conference and the Studio offer. Pages still marked “to be announced,” including registration fees, will change when those details exist. Speakers, the schedule, and the logistics page can be updated. Travel, visa, and venue notes are planning information. Check the current rules for your passport before you travel.

Do not misuse the forms, try to break the site, submit work you do not have the right to submit, or use the site to harass anyone.

03

Registration.

Register Now opens a form hosted by Jotform. This site does not take payment. Fees are to be announced. Until a fee is published, there is nothing to refund. If a fee is charged later, the amount and the cancellation terms will be stated on the registration form before you pay.

04

Submissions and copyright.

By submitting, you confirm that you have the right to submit the work and to name the authors. After you confirm the email link, the submission, including the contact email, is published as a public pull request. Reviews are public and signed. There is no anonymized stage.

You keep the copyright. You grant the conference the right to publish the abstract, the paper, and the review history under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The conference treats the pull request timestamp as the priority record for that submission.

AI assistance is allowed. The conference reviews the quality of the work. You do not have to disclose that you used it, and you are not credited for avoiding it. Hallucinated citations and generic prose are reviewed as failures of the work.

The website code is under the MIT license in the repository. Other conference text in the repository, apart from author submissions, is under CC BY 4.0, as stated in LICENSE-CONTENT.

05

Studio.

The office engagement is described on /studio as $5,000 to set the agents up and $1,000 a month while an engineer manages and adapts them. A different design or AI problem has no second price on that page.

Sending the form, or emailing roger@algorithmacy.org, is a request for a conversation. It does not create a contract, reserve a start date, or require either side to go ahead. What access the engineer needs, which privacy rules the office already follows, how long the work lasts, and how it ends are agreed before the work starts. This site does not set those terms.

06

Other sites, and liability.

Links to Jotform, GitHub, LinkedIn, Cohorts, and sponsor sites leave this site. Their terms apply once you are there. Author submissions are the authors’ work. The conference does not adopt every claim in a paper by publishing the pull request.

The site is offered as it stands. As far as the law allows, the conference and Roger Hunt are not liable for travel or visa decisions you make from the logistics page, for work you submit, or for a Studio conversation that has not yet become an agreement. These terms are written for a conference hosted in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Questions: rhunt@bentley.edu.
